Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

UIBuilderHub ("we", "our", "us") operates uibuilderhub.com and the free online tools available on it. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what control you have. It applies to everyone who visits the site, with or without an account.

If you only want the short version: the files you upload to our converters are processed and then deleted, we do not sell personal information, and we show third-party advertising that uses cookies.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: name, email address, and a hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
  • Content you create with our tools: QR codes, shortened URLs, resumes, invoices, business cards, saved snippets, and similar saved output.
  • Payment information for paid plans. We receive a transaction reference and your billing country. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Anything you write to us via the contact form or support email.

Files you upload to our tools

  • Documents, images, spreadsheets, and PDFs submitted to our converters and editors. See section 4, which covers these specifically.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and screen size.
  • Pages visited, referring URL, timestamps, and interactions with tools.
  • Cookies and browser local storage. See section 6.

What we do not collect: we do not ask for or store government identifiers, health information, or financial account numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the tools and return the output you asked for.
  • To create and manage your account and process subscription payments.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To diagnose faults and monitor reliability and performance.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and automated scraping.
  • To understand which tools are used so we know what to improve.
  • To display advertising, including personalised advertising. See section 5.

We do not use your uploaded file contents to train machine learning models.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA and UK visitors)

We process personal data under the following bases: contract (providing the service and your account), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, service improvement), consent (non-essential cookies and personalised advertising, where required), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

4. Files You Upload

This section takes precedence over the general retention rules in section 8.

  • Where processing happens. Smaller files are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to us. Larger files are uploaded to our servers for processing. Each tool page states which method it uses.
  • How long we keep them. Uploaded source files and generated output are automatically and permanently deleted after processing. We keep no backup copy of them.
  • Who can see them. No member of our team reads, opens, or inspects the contents of uploaded files. Access to processing servers is limited to operational staff and used only for infrastructure maintenance.
  • Transfer security. All uploads and downloads use TLS encryption.
  • Your responsibility. Please do not upload files containing information you are not permitted to share, or that you would not accept any risk of losing. Our tools are provided for general use and are not intended for regulated categories of data such as medical records or payment card data.

5. Advertising

We display advertising through Google AdSense to keep our tools free.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can read how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting adssettings.google.com. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu.

Third-party vendors and ad networks other than Google may also serve ads on this site. We do not control the cookies these third parties set and we do not receive the personal information they collect.

Advertising is never shown based on the contents of files you upload.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use:

  • Essential cookies — keep you signed in, remember your plan, and protect against cross-site request forgery. These cannot be switched off.
  • Preference storage — remembers tool settings such as your last used output format or theme. Stored in your browser, not sent to us.
  • Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics, which we use to understand which tools are used and where errors occur. Google Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or your browser's cookie settings.
  • Advertising cookies — set by Google and other advertising partners as described in section 5.

Visitors in regions that require it are shown a consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though essential cookies are required for accounts to work.

7. Sharing Your Information

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers who host our infrastructure, send transactional email, process payments, and provide analytics. Each is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions.
  • Advertising partners, as described in section 5.
  • Legal authorities, where we are required to by valid legal process.
  • A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You will be notified before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

8. Data Retention

  • Account data: kept while your account is active, then deleted within 30 days of account closure.
  • Uploaded files: see section 4.
  • Saved tool output (QR codes, short links, resumes): kept until you delete it or close your account.
  • Server and security logs: 90 days.
  • Billing and tax records: retained as long as applicable law requires, typically 6–7 years.

9. Your Rights

Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and you can close your account at any time from your account settings.

If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR) you additionally have the right to restrict or object to processing, to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA) you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and why, to request deletion, to request a copy, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense defined by the CPRA beyond the advertising cookies described in section 5, which you may opt out of using the links provided.

To exercise any right, email info@uibuilderhub.com. We respond within 30 days and may ask you to verify ownership of the account.

10. Security

We use TLS for all traffic, hash passwords with a modern algorithm, restrict production access to a small number of staff, and review our infrastructure periodically. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify affected users and the relevant authority without undue delay if a breach affects your personal data.

11. International Transfers

Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard for transfers out of the EEA and UK.

12. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and for significant changes we will notify account holders by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
